If transparencies or slides are provided, there will be an additional charge as drum scanning will be necessary. Negatives are acceptable.

If you want to scan a printed piece, please be aware that dots from the printing process will show up in work created from said scan. However, we print on a 200 line screen which makes those dots almost invisible!

We do not accept these formats for quality issues. These programs do not export files at a high enough resolution and can reduce the final product quality.

If we do not have the right photograph for you, or you wish to use other stock photography, the digital file may be uploaded or e-mailed to us. Make sure the image is at least 300 ppi (pixels per inch) or about 10 MB (file size) for a 4x6 post card. Please keep our bleed specifications in mind when selecting photographs to be used.

We have listed a few stock photography websites in our quick clicks section to the right for your convienience. We also suggest using royalty free photography to cut down on cost since there is only a one time charge.

Scanning a previously printed piece will result in the dots from the color process showing up in the finished product so you will have to use the descreen filter in your scanning software or aply blur and then unsharpen in Photoshop®.

Some professional digital cameras do produce very high quality picture in RAW or TIFF format. RAW formats will have to be converted by you and sent to us as TIFF files.

Please include only the files needed for the job, label all disks, and make sure all files can be opened on PC platform.

If you are e-mailing files, please zip or stuff files as this will cut down on transfer time and is more secure.
